Welcome to the Field of Dreams!

Field of Dreams is a Georgetown community led project to upgrade the community outdoor athletic facilities to a “state of the Art” facility including Artificial Turf playing field, all weather running track, Lights, electronic scoreboard, and spectator seating.

This is truly a community project, led by your community, in partnership with the Town of Halton Hills, and the Halton  District  School Board.  Its our parent volunteers in Georgetown Soccer, Halton Football, with educators from Georgetown  District  School who have banded together to ensure that the next generation of Georgetown’s youth have first class facilities to train compete, and develop their skills.

We called the project “Field of Dreams” for many reasons. Clearly it started as our Dream, but the most powerful for me is what this field will enable in the future – the new dreams of a new generation of our youth.

It’s a big project, costing over $2.1 Million in total, and we have a large fund campaign to raise $500,000 of this amount from the community, to ensure that construction starts in the spring of 2010 for play in the fall of 2010.

Our community is rising to this challenge and we are over half way to our fund raising goal.

However, we need your help to finish the fund raising challenge. Here’s how you can  help --- participate in our upcoming fund raising events – give a donation – or create your own event to fund raise. All donations will be recognized on our Donor wall, and all gifts will get tax Receipts.
