HOW ST. MARCILINIS IS SET-UP:

Maintenance consists of regularly racking the field to ensure that rubber pellets are evenly distributed

• The facility was co-developed by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and the City of Mississauga. Their Library was also developed on the same basis.
• They have an artificial Turf field sized for soccer and football, an 8 lane all weather track, lights, scoreboard, washroom facilities, and small set of stands
• The field supplier is ‘field turf’ the same as WLU and Acton
• School gets the facility during the day until 6pm, after which the facilities are rented to outside groups by the City
• The City looks after maintenance, bookings, with some of the revenue set aside for future field replacement (project life is 10 years)
